Rates and Policies:

There is a 2 hour minimum for ALL bookings.
OAS has a strict 5 day cancellation policy..

Monday-Saturday 8am-10pm
Sunday 8am-9pm

Rates
$16 per hour for movement rehearsals.

$25 per hour for group rehearsals larger than 20 people.

$35 per hour for non-profit dance classes - 2 hour minimum

$75 per hour for photo shoots for dancers and actors ***special permission required

$100 per hour for auditions ***special permission required

$100 to rent piano for entire rehearsal ***special permission required

$600 for nonprofit studio showings, includes super basic lighting, excludes large budget organizations. Up to 4 hours. Contact us for more information.
These prices may be adjusted up or down. ***special permission required

Lock-outs are priced individually based on what the group is planning.
Security Deposits may be required.

Other classes, auditions, musical groups, photo and video shoots have different rates, please inquire! Please do not try to have a class or event without an agreement with OAS. Any misrepresentation of studio use is subject to cancellation without a refund.

Payment is due at the time of booking.
NOTE: Your rental is not confirmed until payment is received.

Because classes are a different price you must write “CLASS” in the description on the rental form

OAS does not accept reservations less than 24 hours before your start time.

PLEASE READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW BEFORE BOOKING.

By renting Open Arts Studio you agree to the following terms and policies:

• Shoes off! Please leave them by the door when you enter.

• No street shoes. NYC is gross.

• No tap shoes (neighbors). No heels. No hard soled shoes.

• Music shouldn’t be at an extreme volume that disturbs neighbors.

• Make sure that you have turned off the heat/air and lights when you leave, and close the windows.

• Lock the studio door and put the key in the lock-box!

• if you are working with interesting materials, you must have pre-approval.
  We love multidisciplinary art!

• No live music without prior approval, we want to accommodate if possible.

• Never, ever, under any circumstances bring glitter, or something with glitter attached to it, or anything resembling or behaving like glitter, into the studio.
  You will be fined $100 and possibly banned from the studio.

• You MUST be 18 years of age to book space or be accompanied by an adult. This is not a play space, it is an art space. Make art.

• You must be 18 years old to book space at Open Arts Studio..

• If you damage the floor, you will be assessed for the damage and charged for the repair.

• Open Arts Studio is an accessible space. The building is ADA compliant. Please contact openartsstudioinc@gmail.com with any questions..

• Absolutely no rosin.

• No animals, no pets.

• You are responsible for leaving the space as you found it.

• No smoking - anything.

• No alcohol.

• No open flames or smoke machines.

• Do not climb in the window sills.

• OPEN ARTS STUDIO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY BOOKING FOR ANY REASON.
