What we do:

Open Arts Studio Co is a teen dance company in Brooklyn led by Choreographer and Artistic Director Laura Peterson and Assistant Director, Sofia Quezaire.

We value young dancers as artistic collaborators.

Fall 2026 company members will have the opportunity to learn from professional artists in theater, choreography, and music. Together we will create a new work to premiere in December at Open Arts Studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

We work in person, in real time, communicating our concepts and developing our community.Dancers learn to how move and think as artists and people -ready to create the future.

Our fall season rehearsals begins in September 2026.
Each week includes one class and one rehearsal.
Option for 2 additional classes during the week.
