Dance Italia + Open Arts Studio YOUNG ARTISTS PROGRAM

Dates: July 26- August 6, 2022

Location: Lucca, Italy

The Program
The Young Artists Program offers focused and individualized training with renowned educators and choreographers. Our goal is to provide each dancer with the opportunity to grow and develop as movers and artists in a supportive and creative environment, providing them with a platform to discover a diverse range of Contemporary techniques, while immersing themselves in the local culture.

Students take 4 classes per day in contemporary dance forms improvisation, choreography, and more. Classes rotate throughout the intensive so there’s always something new.
Young Artists have the opportunity to be part of the creation of a new work that will be performed at the culmination of the intensive for the Dance Italia community and the general public. The intensive also includes a half day trip to Pisa and attendance at a professional dance concert in Lucca.
