"Home, Heart, Hero" is an investigation of individual and cultural relationships to the afterlife. In this iteration, Falcon investigates ritual and repetition in the aftermath of loss, both as a process of healing, and as an act of public memorializing. In her research of collective memory Brit Falcon looks at the creation of architecture, relics, and symbols as methods of honoring and holding sacred the elusive quality of memories. In this time post-traumatic growth we seek to impart the characteristics of heroism - virtue, innocence, hope, and endurance.

4:00pm-6:30pm ALL ARE WELCOME!
In-person workshop: Brit Falcon with company members Javier Padilla and Shawn Brush, will lead the group through a class which nurtures human connection, self-awareness, and curiosity. Using both improvisational and choreographed structures, we will reconnect to weight, gravity, and momentum based movement while honoring the collective joy of dance.
