Sofia Quezaire is a dance artist, educator, choreographer, and creative collaborator originally from Boulder, CO. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Since its inception in 2023, Sofia has served as Assistant Director of the teen company OASco, mentoring young artists and supporting the creation and rehearsal of collaborative choreographic projects.

As a professional artist, Sofia works as a choreographer, movement director, and performer. Her collaborations include work with musician iKeda throughout the UK and Europe, choreography and movement coaching for the band Chanpan’s performances, music videos, and tours, as well as projects with musicians Carlos Antonio, Chloe French, and THOOM. She recently provided movement direction and coaching for the short horror film Blood Ties. Her practice centers on collaboration, physical storytelling, and the creative possibilities of movement.

Since joining Open Arts Studio | Laura Peterson Choreography (OAS/LPC) in 2022, Sofia has contributed as both Studio Manager and teaching artist, supporting studio operations through scheduling, artist relationships, event planning, and production support. She also develops and teaches dance intensives that explore the connection between movement and music.
